HANNAH MWESIGWA

Executive Director

Hannah is highly knowledgeable and analytical and has excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Has good understanding of gender and social norms theory, women economic empowerment, rights, justice and labor programming.

Previously worked with Wagagai Ltd as a Human Resource Officer. 

She has further worked as a research officer with Uganda Worker’s Education Association specializing on the rights of women workers in the cut flower and plantation sectors,

She offers consultancy services to civil society organizations and trade unions on several aspects of Decent work, land rights, women in artisanal mining and grassroots women workers.

Hannah is very passionate about the Rights of vulnerable women and migrant workers and Access to Justice.

Program Officer

She pursued a bachelor’s degree in office and information management at Makerere University Business School, am confident, persistent, innovative, creative, self-driven, resourceful, collaborative, ambitious, analytical and so passionate about my work. Am good at writing reports, data entry, emails, social media influencing, computer skills and looking forward to learn more. Worked with Uganda National Examination Board on contract as a data entrant, worked with Land Justice Network as a volunteer and I also worked with Open Street Mapping as a data collector.

DANIEL ABOWE

ENVIRONMENT ANALYST

"Daniel Abowe is experienced in biodiversity conservation, environment and natural resource management, climate change mitigation and adaptation, livelihood improvement, conflict resolution and management and natural resource governance. Daniel has worked at Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) in partnership with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) and other state and non-state actors.  His roles centered on institutional capacity strengthening for the implementation of the Nagoya protocol on access to genetic resources and benefit sharing (ABS) in Uganda. Daniel has previously assumed research roles under the environment and natural resource governance program at the Civil Society Coalition on Oil and Gas (CSCO) and Advocates Coalition for Development and Environment (ACODE). Daniel has worked with TotalEnergies’ environment and biodiversity department, Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) REDD+ department, Voluntary Initiative Support Organisation (VISO), the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) - Uganda, and WWF - Uganda in different capacities. Daniel has broadly implemented conservation projects aimed at combating climate change effects in the Albertine region of Uganda. He has conducted biodiversity surveys to inform conservation and coordinated incentivization schemes in return for conservation. Daniel possesses a BSc in Environmental Science from Makerere University and is currently finalising an MSc in Conservation and Natural Resource Management at Kyambogo University."

Has gained a series of certificates in entrepreneurship and development skills

JJUKO HENRY

ACCOUNTANT

Jjuuko Henry is our Accountant with vast experience, knowledge and skills in the accounting profession with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree - Accounting option from Makerere University and holds ACCA and CPA, his & nbsp;analytical with good communication and organizational skills.He has served with Lutheran World Federation (LWF) as an Accountant. Currently an Accountant for Bukomansimbi District.
